First, create an incoming webhook URL in Slack:
- Go to api.slack.com/apps and click "Create New App"
- Choose "From scratch", name it "RedProwler", and select your workspace
- In the app settings, go to "Incoming Webhooks" and toggle it on
- Click "Add New Webhook to Workspace" and select the channel for notifications
- Copy the webhook URL (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/...)
Connecting to RedProwler
With your webhook URL copied:
- Go to Settings → Integrations in RedProwler
- Find the Slack Notifications section
- Paste your webhook URL
- Click "Connect"
What triggers notifications
Once connected, you'll receive Slack messages for:
- High-relevance leads (scoring 80% or higher)
- Competitor mentions found in your monitored subreddits
- Daily digest summaries (if enabled)
